In honor of what would have been Cole’s 18th birthday, we hosted a blood drive in partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado. On March 31st, the Children’s Hospital Colorado mobile blood donation bus came to the Northridge Recreation Center in Highlands Ranch, CO.
We were able to fill 32/32 spots. For every one person who donated, CHCO can make approximately 3 units of blood. We donated approximately 96 transfusions worth of blood! That is a lot of kids helped or saved.
