Charlie Moses
Theatre Scholarship Winner
This scholarship recognizes a Mountain Vista High School theatre student who embodies the spirit with which Cole approached both his life and his education. Class of 2026 would have been Cole’s senior year.
Charlie has had a remarkable and inspiring journey, both on the stage and in life. He has “played all roles” in StageFlight as an actor, director, tech crew, stage manager and more. He acted in The Tempest, The Laramie Project, Peter and the Starcatcher and others. He directed Sorority House of the Dead and How to Get Away with a Murder Mystery and several full class productions. He has a passion for storytelling and embraces the pressure of performing and creating. In college and beyond, he plans to pursue filmmaking. His curiosity about how life and art intersect drive his passion for art both on stage and in film. He has become a leader in the theatre department and a meaningful contributor throughout both the drama and film departments.
He has overcome great personal adversity, weathering storms he never asked for or expected. He has become a stronger and more driven individual. Faced with the unknown, he let love and resilience pave the way forward.

Senior Scholarship
Landon Dunn
Senior Scholarship Winner
This scholarship recognizes a Mountain Vista High School senior who embodies the spirit with which Cole approached both his life and his education. Class of 2026 would have been Cole’s senior year.
The Cole Frederking Legacy Foundation is proud to award a Vista student who exemplifies similar resilience and determination that Cole displayed in the face of adversity.
Landon participated in football, track and field and Link Crew. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. He has maintained a 4.0 GPA and completed his EMT and fire science coursework all while battling health issues. These health issues forced him to redefine what success looks like. He learned that perseverance isn’t about physical strength, it’s about enduring despite obstacles. He says “I could have withdrawn from activities, surrendered to fatigue, or let frustration define me. Instead, I chose commitment—to my family, friends, school, and community”.
Landon plans to attend the University of Utah and study emergency medical services.

Film Scholarship
Logan Graber
Film Scholarship Winner
This scholarship recognizes a Mountain Vista High School film student who embodies the spirit with which Cole approached both his life and his education. Class of 2026 would have been Cole’s senior year.
Logan has committed himself to the art of filmmaking. He has experimented with visual storytelling, studying technique and learning from every creative project he has worked on. Logan produced six short features and countless other films and works. The Breakthrough, Sci-Fi Short, won best animation and best sci-fi fiction. He has been instrumental in MVTV, promotional and educational films throughout his time at Mountain Vista High School.
Logan plans to attend Loyola Marymount University for mechanical engineering and screenwriting.
