THEATRE SCHOLARSHIP!

Grant McIntosh – Theatre Scholarship Winner

Grant has participated in StageFlight Theatre all four years of high school. He’s been in over 10 plays and musicals at MVHS, and has performed numerous times as a classically trained dancer. He has choreographed numerous performances, and teaches at a local dance studio. The epitome of his high school theatre career is when he played several roles in The Laramie Project.

He became a leader in the theatre department and has stretched his acting skill this year.

He is the kind of person that lights up any room he walks into and is quick with a joke or a smile.  He is dependable, kind, respectful, and shows everyone around him love and care. He shines as a lead actor and director captivating audiences and his talent and stage presence. He sets a very high mark of achievement and encourages others to be as invested and hard-working as he is.

There’s a quote that Dennis Shepherd said in “The Laramie Project” in reference to his son Matthew Shepherd. It’s “What would he have become? How could he have changed his piece of the world to make it better?” Those two questions run through my head every time I think of Cole.

Grant will be attending Casper University, majoring in dance in the fall of 2025.

The Cole Frederking Legacy Foundation is proud to announce GRANT MCINTOSH as the winner of the THEATRE scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year.
