September 2026 – We are incredibly honored to share that Cole Frederking was posthumously inducted into the Douglas County Hall of Fame on September 22, 2026.
For those who know Cole’s story and the work of the Cole Frederking Legacy Foundation, this recognition is especially meaningful. It reflects the qualities that defined Cole throughout his life… his kindness, perseverance, compassion, and unwavering desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Through the Foundation, Cole’s legacy continues to create opportunities for students pursuing theatre, film, and seniors pursuing higher education, particularly for those who have demonstrated academic excellence while overcoming hardship. Each scholarship is a reminder that Cole’s impact did not end with his life. It continues through the lives he inspires and the futures he helps make possible.
To see Cole recognized by the community he cared so deeply about is an incredible honor for our family. His name, his values, and his story continue to live on in ways that would make him proud.
